Today's topic is how to drink water in terms of physical health and in terms of the Sunnah of the Prophet
Drink water, usually by mouth. Cups, bottles, or other suitable utensils can be used for drinking water. You must make sure that the bottle or cup is clean and sterile to avoid transferring germs to your mouth.
You can drink water when you feel thirsty or periodically throughout the day to maintain good hydration of the body. It is recommended to drink at least 8 glasses of water per day.
Water can be taken at different temperatures as desired, it can be taken cold in the summer, and hot in the winter, and some flavors such as lemon or mint can be added to give the water a distinctive flavor.
The custom at that time was to drink water with tools made of pottery or wood, as it was mentioned in the noble hadith that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, drank water in a container known as a water bottle. It is also recommended in Islam to drink water in three breaths and not to drink it continuously, and it is preferable to drink water shortly before eating and after eating for a period of time.
