هذه الطبخة تمت في وادي رم في الاردن وهي منطقة سياحية معروفة في جنوب الاردن، ويسمى أيضاً وادي القمر نظراً لتشابه تضاريسه مع تضاريس القمر وهو واد سياحي يقع في جنوب الأردن، على بعد 70 كيلومترا شمالي مدينة العقبة الساحلية. يمتاز بوجود بالجبال الشاهقة نسبيا فيه، ففيه أعلى القمم الجبلية في جنوب بلاد الشام.الطريق الرئيسي إلى وادي رم وقرية رم الصغيرة ينحدر شرقا من الطريق الصحراوي عند حوالي خمسة كيلومترات إلى الجنوب من مدينة القويرة وخمسة وعشرين كيلومترا إلى الشمال من العقبة. ومن هناك يمتد الطريق بطول يصل إلى حوالي 35 كيلومترا عبر الصحراء وينتهي حتى وادي رم.يعتبر وادي رم من أكثر المناطق السياحية في الأردن التي يأتي إليها السياح من جميع أنحاء العالم نظرا للطبيعية الموقع والتي لم يصتعها أي إنسان وإنما هي من فعل الطبيعة على الرغم من وجود نقوش ثمودية واسلامية.
